Pine Ridge Honey

Hi !

This is our first post, we hope to provide information on local bee keeping here in the Mount Gambier Region of SA, information on our locally sourced, extracted, and bottled honey and honeycomb (Pine Ridge Honey).... and of course provide photos and stories of our bee keeping experiences!

Here is a picture of some of our hives on a local cherry farm :-)

Our honey is sold locally at the Produce Store, and the Rural Store here in Mt Gambier SA, our contact details are also on each jar of honey - so we are happy to be contacted directly if you would like to purchase our honey.

We lease out our hives for pollination services for many months of the year, we sell our honey, and honey comb and we've recently organised and started a local bee keepers group - at this point we are meeting twice a year. We hav branched out and are also selling some bee keeping equipment.

Our next venture is to look at providing (bee free) talks and demonstrations at local schools for children (for a small fee. As well as a 1 day beginners introduction to bee keeping.
